RECORD LABEL LOGO

When designing the logo we first had to decide on a name for our record company. After several suggestions had been made such as Karpoon records (where the logo would be a fish holding a harpoon in its mouth) I suggested staying simple and using my second name and adding 'records' to it. After deciding on the name we had to plan the creation of the logo. First of all we found an image of fire simply by typing the word 'fire' into google images. We took the image which in my opinion was the best and opened it in photoshop.

We then used the text tool to write 'Burn Records' then the clone stamp to take the fire effect from the image and applied it to the text. I finally cropped the image and saved it to upload.
